Boise- Summer 2009

After Utah, it was on to Boise for more family fun, Wilson-style.

We played some tennis.

No trip to Boise is complete without fishing with Grandpa Wilson - We love it!

Trip to the new and improved Boise Zoo.

Introducing the newest Wilson arrival - Cannon Wilson - compliments of Ben and Nikki.

Proud Father, Ben!

Porter's 7th B-day party. He was very specific about requesting a cousin's pool party with pool games and a pool cake. I did my best to deliver.

swimming, swimming and more swimming - the kids can't get enough of it at Grandpa and Grandma Wilson's.

Summer trip to Utah - 2009

Lots of great times in Utah with family. Below are just a few of the highlights.

Braxton, Porter and Hudson love to be with their cousins.

Lagoon - Where the fun never stops. We had a family day at Lagoon - the white roller coaster and wild mouse never get old, but it was nice to go on some new rides like "Wicked".

Home-sweet-home with Grandpa and Grandma Rich!

4-wheeling fun at Rob and Aki's place in Farmington. Thanks for letting us stay with you!

Golf @ Oakridge Country Club - Tanner showed us the ropes.

More golf - yes that is right, Mike managed to play over 90 holes of golf - I am starting to think he might like this sport:) This was at Thanksgiving Point golf course with Brent, Burke and Beau.

After spending the morning at the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur museum with my sister Jessica and her cute family, we all headed to one of our favorite places to eat -Cafe Rio! Gotta have our Cafe Rio "fix".

Good ol' Cache Valley Rodeo!

Visiting Aunt Gay at her new place in Logan.

Mean game of Mother/Son ping pong. We were doing well until meeting tough match-up against Lori and Logan - 2nd place isn't so bad.

Traditional B-day "spank machine" line-up at Bear Lake Cabin.

Visit to Paris, Idaho to visit Charles C. Rich homes and historical sites.

Day of swimming and family fun in the sun at the Logan Aquatic Center.

A quick trip to DC = Fun times

It is nice to live so close to so many fun areas. What makes it even better is to have family and friends to visit. We took a little weekend trip to DC to be with friends and visit my brother Chad. It was a lot of fun. The kids loved swimming in the pool, jumping on the tramp, playing tennis and basketball and best of all going to the Orioles game, where Porter got a foul ball - he was thrilled. Thanks for the good times Archibalds. After some time with friends, we went to my brother Chad's place and visited with him.

Sunday Best!

All dressed up with everywhere to go. Hudson loves to strike a pose. Here he is on a Sunday afternoon in our backyard.

3rd and 4th of July Festivities

Happy Birthday America! Nothing quite like a good 4th of July parade and follow-up fireworks. We had a great time this year celebrating the 4th in Madison. We went to the Florham Park parade, had a couple BBQs with friends, played wiffle ball, participated in the first annual "Jan Dawson Home-Run Derby", and ended the night with a bang at the Junior High firework show. Good times were had by all.

Annual Father and Son camp out June 2009!

Nothing like the great outdoors. Mike loves to take the boys camping and show them all of his skills (I believe numchuck skills is one of them). They had a great camp this year with good weather. The boys look forward to all the night games that are played, especially "capture the flag". Hudson was excited to report that he had caught over 30 little frogs and had the pictures to prove it. He was devastated that Dad didn't let him bring a few of them home.

I can't believe we have a 10 year old!!

Braxton is a big 10 year old now. Time does fly when you are doing what Braxton has been doing. This young boy sure has the life. He bounces from one activity to the next. When he is not playing baseball, soccer or basketball, he is playing with friends, hanging with the fam, going to movies, rollerblading, playing the Wii, and his favorite - practicing the violin and doing homework:) The "B" is great to have around - full of energy and fun.
