The Boys Skiing @ Camelback

The boys minus H went skiing with their dad a couple of weeks ago with the mutual. I was a little nervous about it just because P had never been and they were going to be there all day long and it was suppose to be really cold. P really wanted to go, so at 6:30 am they got up and went. The boys each took an 1 1/2 hour lesson and then spent the rest of the day with M. They all had a great day. B actually spent a lot of the day with the mutual kids going down the big runs. P spent the day with M and every time he fell M said he just had the biggest smile on his face. Every run M would ask if he wanted this to be the last run and he would say how about 2 or 3 more dad. They didn't get home until 9 pm and they all couldn't wipe the smiles off their face. P said to M on the ride home "Dad that was the best family day ever!" I won't take it too personal.

Our visit from Grandma & Grandpa Rich!

A few weeks ago we had a great visit from G&G Rich! It was so good to see them. The kids had a great time playing games and visiting with them. They brought us all neat stuff from their Cruise in Asia that was 22 days long. They had a great time and we enjoyed hearing about it and seeing all their pics. Mike was able to take a couple days off and took them into the city to the Manhattan temple, Natural History Museum, and visit the Thatcher family. We also went bowling, shopping, played glow in the dark Bocce ball, and even as B calls it had a pre "Super Bowl Party". Thanks for coming we had a great time!

Happy Birthday A!

We went to dinner with our friends to Rosa's in the city to celebrate A's b-day. She is the one next to me. We had such a great time. It is so fun to live so close to NYC we can get away to a completely different place, with only driving 40 min. Rosa's is a great Mexican resturant and has been a known for its celebrity sightings. Last time we went there we saw Anderson Cooper. Another one of our friends saw the lady from the View, the young conservitive blonde. No sightings this time but still a great time. Thanks A!

NYC Botanical Gardens Christmas Train Exibit

We had a great time at the NYC Botanical Gardens they are located in the Bronx. Grandpa W had heard about it and so we looked it up on the internet and thought it looked pretty neat so we went and checked it out. They had a neat Gingerbread display and the kids got to grind their own ginger, cinnamon, etc. They also got to decorate their own gingerbread cookies which of course they loved. There was also a train puppet show, but the highlight was definitely the train exibit. They had all these building that were replicas of buildings in NYC and bridges with all of these different trains running through them. They do it every year and add more each year. The thing that is so unique about it is that all the buildings and bridges are made completely out of natural things like wood, bark, leaves, moss, etc. It was quite amazing.
