Summer trip to Boise

We went to Boise this summer for a couple of weeks and had a great time. We did a lot of fun things, swimming, golfing, fishing, family pictures, and quality time with cousins, grandparents, and friends. Here are some of the highlights- Thanks Mom and Dad!!!!!

This is all of us down at the Saturday Market in downtown Boise. We went there to see my sister in laws dance group perform and then enjoyed all the other festivities it had to offer, crafting, food tasting, and performances.

This is my brother Gregg's new home. It is every kids dream, it on 10 acres so the boys and their cousins as you can see had a great time. They swam, played in their yard, investigated the chicken coop and checked out the forts they are building next to the pond. Needless to say we had to drag them home. It was Gregg's birthday so Kami his wife had us all out for a party, with dinner, desert and fun. We had a great time and we all can't wait to do it again. Thanks Gregg and Kami!

While were in town we had some old and not so old friends from NJ, the Hillams and the Franks that now live in Boise over for barbaque and swimming. We had a great time catching up and the kids had a great time swimming and playing with their old friends.

One of the big highlights of the trip for me was going fishing with my dad. We went the night before and got my fishing license and then got up early the next morning made our lunch and took off. We first stopped and did a little fly fishing on the north fork of the Payette River. We each caught a couple and then headed to our final destination Horse Theif Resevoir. We just fished off the bank but we caught our limit of 6 fish each. It was fun to spend some one on one time with my dad doing something we both love. The weather was great, the lake was beautiful, and the company was priceless. Thanks for taking me Dad!

Mike and my dad on their annual golf outing

All the adults went to PF Chang's for dinner one night it was soooo Yummy!

The boys at Albertson's park one day.

The boys always look forward to going fishing with Grandpa Wilson and this trip was no exception! They had enough time to squeeze in two fishing trips. They have this neat little spot that the boys love because every time they throw their line in they get a fish within maybe 30 seconds. They had a great time and I think Grandpa did too!
